Skin Rejuvenation Treatment

Plasma Shower treatments improve uneven pigmentation, dull complexions and red flushing skin.

We use the PlaSon for treatment of acne.

Acne, a common skin condition that affects most people at some point, causes spots, oily skin and sometimes skin that’s hot or painful to touch.

Often acne can affect confidence and cause people to try and cover it up with make-up.

Plasma Shower treatment kills 99% of acne bacteria, reduces inflammation and promotes healing.

What can Plasma Shower treat?

  • The skin on the face and neck for regeneration
  • Eyelids/bags/tear trough as a standalone treatment
  • Scars and stretchmarks
  • Melasma
  • Pigmentation
  • Hair Loss
  • Acne
  • Rosacea
  • Deep dermal skin delivery system
  • Wound healing

Other treatments that also use Plasma to rejuvenate skin are skin tag removal and Eye Lid Tightening.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find out more about Plasma Shower treatments at our clinic in Thorpe End, Norwich.

Plasma Shower Handpiece removes the bacteria and helps absorb essential drugs to the skin tissue. A strong low-temperature atmospheric plasma on the surface of the skin sterilizes the skin and the ionized radicals stimulate the skin treatment process such as skin regeneration, anti-bacteria, TDDS (Transdermal Drug Delivery System), skin whitening and collagen generation.

During the treatment, the skin may feel a warm sensation and where there are active clusters of acne this may be amplified. There is also the smell of o-zone which is harmless. The tips of active acne pustules may be dislodged during the treatment, this is normal.

The effects of the Plasma Shower treatment can usually be seen within a week after the treatment.

Common Side Effects after treatment:
  • Slight Redness which is transient
  • Weeping acne pustules
  • Uncommon Side Effects
  • Blisters
  • Hypo/hyper pigmentation (light or dark patches on the skin). Usually this is temporary but in rare cases can be permanent.
Herpes simplex (coldsores) – If you do suffer from cold sores treatment can trigger an outbreak

Multiple Plasma Shower treatment sessions are required to obtain optimal results. A treatment programme of 2-6 treatments at 1-4 weekly intervals is recommended to achieve the best results. The number of treatment sessions required depends upon the individual patient and the condition of the skin.

Makeup should not be worn for 12 hours following treatment. Please refrain from drinking alcohol on the day of treatment. You should follow the aftercare advice provided by Joolia Gilvey.
